The Red Hot Chili Peppers played their first show for a long time at some sorts event in the USA called the Superbowl- a bit like the American FA cup final.
Some viewers felt that the band was miming their appearance for their rendition of their classic Give It Away and the internet has been full of people scrutinising online video and scratching their digital heads.
The main beef is that the band didn’t seem to be plugged in which is fairly common in the modern age but some suspicious onlookers couldn’t see any wireless packs either.
Were the band literally unplugged? is the event so controlled now after years of mishaps that bands cannot make a sound? or were the band so hi tech that they fooled everybody?
